Let the list begin!
#10 Breville BJS600XL Fountain Crush Masticating Slow Juicer
The benefit of a masticating juicer is that it can extract much more juice than a centrifugal juicer (we’ve listed some of those below).
“Chewing” juicers work slower, but get a lot more juice out of greens than other types of juicers. A masticating juicer is also much more quiet and easy on the ears!

Pros:
- Masticating (chewing) juicer extracts the maximum amount of juice
- Able to get much more juice from harder to juice vegetables

- Possibility of jamming if items haven’t been pre-sliced enough (although proper cleaning keeps things running smooth)
What Amazon reviewers are saying about it:
I had the Breville centrifugal juicer, and wanted to upgrade to a masticating type. This juicer is wonderful! I like that it’s vertical, which allows me to fill a larger pitcher making two glasses at once if needed.
I can’t begin to tell you how much I love this thing! I use it almost daily… I make about three or four 16oz bottles of juice every day. HIGHLY recommend it, especially at this price!

However, it’s also built to last.
It’s the cadillac of juicers, and it oh so powerful.
Here’s what customers are saying about it:
“This is BEST juicer i have ever owned”
“This is by far one of the world’s GREATEST juicers.”
“The juicer is made mostly of high quality steel, there are a couple plastic pieces, i.e. plunger and the pulp bin, but the construction is high quality. This is durable and will last.”
So why the Breville 800JEXL?
The Breville 800JEXL is the juicer that after a lot of research, we purchased for our home.
We had used an older juicer previously, and the Breville is the ultimate upgrade.
The 800jexl is faster, more efficient and much more powerful. The Breville Juice Fountain Elite is the number 1 juicer hands down.
We like that it’s big enough and fast enough that many fruits and veggies can go in the hopper without having to be chopped up into pieces.
We’ve been able to fit whole apples in there and it juices them in seconds.
We wanted a juicer that would work fast, otherwise, we thought we might not use it as often if it took a long time to juice, plus the time to cut up the veggies (this is what we ran into in the old less-fancy juicer we had).
It’s a beautiful addition to the kitchen, and guests compliment us on it when they see it. It’s truly a work of art.
We’ve been happy with it and try to do a juice every day. But we love using the Breville for juicing.
